How to wash and take care of household linen

To keep the qualities of Dondi textile furnishings intact, such as sheets, duvets, tablecloths, quilts, towels, it is essential to follow some simple instructions. On all Dondi products you can find a label showing the washing symbols to follow for proper cleaning.

Not all the detergents are suitable for all fabrics, in fact, according to the type of textile furniture to be washed, the most suitable detergent must be chosen:

• a powder detergent for resistant garments can be used exclusively for white laundry - this type of detergent also contains bleaches and optical brighteners that allow you to develop a better whitening power, but often this is not enough for an optimal result; in the case of white linen, in fact, we also recommend the use of a bleaching washing product;
• for coloured fabrics it is necessary to choose a neutral detergent for coloured fabrics, making sure that it does not contain bleaches or optical brighteners. This allows the colours to maintain brightness, not fade and not alter the tone;
• for delicate garments, such as woolen fabrics, it is advisable to prefer special detergents that contain surfactants, which allow to preserve the fabric and avoid felting.

For Dondi household linen items, we recommend using only neutral liquid detergents that do not contain bleaches or optical brighteners.
